The Burns family is by no means new to the restaurant business.  Remember the Happy Steak House on Briggsmore and McHenry?  Have you visited a local Perko’s Café & Grill?  Then you’ve visited the Burns family business. They also owned and operated The Early Dawn Cattleman Enterprises in its hey-day in the late 80’s. The family started business locally with Happy Steak in 1968 and their corporate office for Happy Bee’s Inc. is a part of the Riverbank Perko’s location.  

The new restaurant, located next to Galaxy Theatres on Patterson Road, is open for dinner 7 days a week; Monday – Thursday 4:00 to 9:30, Friday and Saturday 4:00 to 10:30 and open noon to 9:30 on Sundays.
